I have been a dental assistant for 38 years and have been affiliated with this office since 1982. I can now be found at the front desk where I help to coordinate our patients’ treatment and financial plans. I will probably be the first friendly face you see when you come in, so I look forward to welcoming you to our office!
I grew up in Texas and graduated from the dental assisting program at Remington College in Houston in 2012. My husband and I moved to Beaufort in 2013 and I've been working for this dental practice ever since. Some of my favorite hobbies include playing softball and bowling.
I was born and raised in Hampton, SC and recently graduated from the Palmetto School of Career Development in Savannah, GA. I have been working with Marshlands Family Dentistry since last February. While I enjoy dental assisting, I plan to become a dental hygienist in the future.
Born and raised in Ohio, I joined the U.S. Navy in 1991 where I served as a Hospital Corpsman for 26 years. I graduated from the Coastal Carolina Community College Dental Hygiene Program in Jacksonville, NC in May 2001 as part of a Navy Program. Retiring from the U.S. Navy in November 2016, I have joined the Beaufort Dental community and the Marshlands Family Dentistry Team in January 2017.
I have recently joined the team here at Marshlands Family Dentistry. I graduated from Trident Technical College in Charleston, SC in May of 2003. I was born and raised here in the lowcountry. I live in Walterboro with my husband and our two children. Our family enjoys hunting, sports, and Clemson football.
I have been working with Marshlands Family Dentistry for the past five years and I love it here! I am originally from Beaufort, but I attended hygiene school at Hudson Valley Community College in Troy, NY, and graduated in May of 1991. My husband Doug and I have two children, Doug and Julee, who both decided to stay up in New York when we moved back to the warmth of the South.
After being a patient in this office myself, the opportunity to join the staff as a receptionist arose in March of 1988. In the over 23 years that I have been in this office, my job has evolved into office manager. It is my goal to make sure that our office runs smoothly and efficiently so you are able to receive the highest quality of care. I am married to a Beaufort native and have three children and five grandchildren.
